The heads of the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council arrived in Saudi Arabia exclusively to participate in the Jeddah Conference for Peace and Development.

US President Joe Biden, who is visiting Saudi Arabia, also participated in the conference.

Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary General Naif Al-Hajraf appreciated the role of the Kingdom in holding the meeting


He said that 'GCC believes in its constructive and central role which is the main pillar and a comprehensive model for the security and stability of the region.'

The heads of member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council participated in this meeting.

It should be noted that in addition to the heads of the GCC countries, the Prime Minister of Iraq, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, King Abdullah II of Jordan and President of Egypt Fatah al-Sisi also participated in the Jeddah Conference for Peace and Development.

The President of the Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, and the Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah arrived in Jeddah to attend the conference.

King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and Omani Prime Minister and Special Representative of the Sultan Asaad bin Tariq Al Saeed also attended the meeting.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed the visiting leaders at the Royal Terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
